Aligned announces new data centre campus in Mansfield, TX

Aligned Data Centers has announced its expansion within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro Area with the establishment of a new data centre campus in Mansfield, Texas.

The DFW-03 facility, located on a 27-acre site with an on-site substation, has been strategically positioned to cater to the growing demands of AI, cloud, and enterprise applications. The company anticipates that the initial capacity of this new centre will be available by the fourth quarter of 2025, thus providing customers expedited access to essential infrastructure.

Aligned is positioning itself to play a significant role in the future of data centre development, underpinned by over ten years of innovation in cooling technologies and a planned 5,000+ MW of future capacity. The company's infrastructure is designed to meet the demands of a rapidly changing technological landscape, offering scalability, speed, and quality.

The DFW-03 data centre utilises Aligned's adaptive modular infrastructure, which facilitates rapid deployment through the prefabrication of components and on-site delivery of crucial equipment. This design strategy aims to reduce costs and risks while enhancing sustainability and quality. It also provides customers with the flexibility to adjust their deployments for a range of workloads, such as AI, cloud, and enterprise applications, by customising density, resiliency, and redundancy.

The facility will feature Aligned's proprietary, award-winning air and liquid cooling technologies. These technologies allow customers to seamlessly move from air-cooled to liquid-cooled systems or opt for hybrid cooling within a single data hall, accommodating densities of up to 350 kW per rack.

Aligned is also prioritising environmental stewardship through the establishment of the "Roots for the Future Fund" in conjunction with the City of Mansfield. This initiative supports city beautification and the planting of native trees, contributing to improved air quality and overall sustainability in the community.
