Bitdefender joins AWS programme to boost global presence

Bitdefender has announced its joining of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Accelerate Program, a global initiative aimed at supporting partners who offer software solutions compatible with AWS.

The programme will enable Bitdefender to increase its presence with AWS customers, particularly in Australia and New Zealand, as well as globally. This partnership comes after a thorough evaluation of Bitdefender's cybersecurity architecture and technology to ensure compliance with quality and design standards.

The AWS ISV Accelerate Program is designed to connect Independent Software Vendor partners with AWS sales teams, facilitating new business prospects for Bitdefender and its channel partners. This partnership is expected to enhance Bitdefender's standing in the business and enterprise sphere by simplifying the purchasing and solution integration processes within AWS environments.

Joining the programme also grants Bitdefender prioritised access to AWS co-sell resources, which include training sessions, webinars, seminars, and adherence to best practices, all aimed at improving sales outcomes and meeting customer needs more effectively.

The first solution to be offered through this programme on the AWS Marketplace is Bitdefender Security for AWS. This solution is tailored specifically for securing AWS cloud environments and integrates with Bitdefender's GravityZone Platform. The platform, known for advanced endpoint protection, encompasses extended detection and response (XDR) features and ensures security across physical, virtual, and multi-cloud environments. Furthermore, it provides a seamless connection to Bitdefender's Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services.

Acceptance into the AWS ISV Accelerate Program necessitates adherence to strict industry standards. Bitdefender underwent a comprehensive review process assessing the quality of its architecture and technology, in addition to demonstrating a proven track record of success across various industry sectors.
