Falcon Cloud Security now supports Oracle Cloud users
CrowdStrike has announced that its Falcon Cloud Security platform now supports Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), enhancing security provisions for users of OCI across various industries, including enterprises and government bodies.
Last year, there was a 75% increase in cloud intrusions, underscoring the ongoing challenges faced by security professionals managing expanding cloud environments. These challenges are compounded by the complexity of using numerous separate security tools. In response to these risks, modern security solutions are required to provide visibility and protection across all potential attack vectors within hybrid and multi-cloud systems. Falcon Cloud Security merges cloud detection and response capabilities with a comprehensive cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP). This integration helps secure applications, data, identities, AI models and Software as a Service (SaaS) environments, ensuring extensive multi-cloud protection.
Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, emphasised the need for a cohesive approach to cloud security by stating, "Organizations need a unified platform for cloud security — not a patchwork of solutions that fail to stop threats. Today's cloud security landscape is fragmented, forcing businesses to manage too many point products that increase costs, complexity and risk. CrowdStrike and Oracle are changing that. With Falcon Cloud Security supported on OCI, organizations get one platform for complete cloud protection."
In agreement, Mahesh Thiagarajan, Executive Vice President of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, remarked, "Security should never be an afterthought especially in this rapidly evolving AI landscape. With Falcon Cloud Security supported on OCI, customers gain access to a unified platform to help secure cloud workloads."
