N-able expands partnership with Rewst for optimised IT tasks

Yesterday

N-able has announced an expansion of its Technology Alliance Program (TAP) through a new integration between Rewst, an automation platform, and its own Cove Data Protection service.

The collaboration is set to provide IT providers with the ability to increase operational efficiency by automating various tasks, aiming to minimise manual efforts and optimise data protection processes. This partnership is a reflection of N-able's Ecoverse model designed to create an interconnected ecosystem.

The integration addresses ongoing challenges faced by IT providers, such as lacking technical bandwidth and the requirement for heightened operational efficiency. Rewst aims to reduce complexity by simplifying processes, thereby ensuring that businesses can achieve consistency, accuracy, and scalability, particularly when managing data protection tasks. This capability allows Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to orchestrate multiple solutions within unified workflows.

Aharon Chernin, CEO of Rewst, stated: "Rewst's partnership with N-able exemplifies our commitment to reducing complexity for IT providers by fostering an open, connected ecosystem. By integrating with N-able's tools, including N-central, N-sight, and now Cove Data Protection, we're empowering MSPs to optimise their operations with seamless automation across their entire tech stack. This integration is just one step in our ongoing mission to help our partners scale efficiently and focus on delivering exceptional service to their customers."

Several specific processes can now be automated through the integration, including user and device onboarding, backup monitoring, and billing reconciliations. This aims to reduce repetitive tasks, enhance consistency, and ensure protection from the beginning of service use.

Stefan Voss, VP of Product for Cove Data Protection, commented on the partnership: "This partnership with Rewst underscores our commitment to innovation and automation—simplifying backup monitoring, improving onboarding, and streamlining billing, with an end goal of boosting your bottom line using the tools you already have in place. This integration helps IT providers focus on what they do best - providing exceptional service - while minimising manual effort."

Tasks such as backup monitoring can now automatically track success or failure, removing the need for manual checks and facilitating ticket creation in PSA tools if issues arise. Additionally, billing processes can automatically update client contracts based on usage data, streamlining the reconciliation process.

This development by N-able and Rewst provides an opportunity for IT service providers to enhance productivity and focus on core business strategies by utilising automation in everyday tasks.

N-able fuels IT services providers with software solutions to monitor, manage, and secure their customers' systems, data, and networks.
