Ram Paudel named Chief Financial Officer at KeyData Cyber

Thu, 23rd Oct 2025

KeyData Cyber has promoted Ram Paudel to the position of Chief Financial Officer as the company continues its growth in the North American cybersecurity market.

Paudel steps into the role after serving as Vice President of Finance and as a member of the executive leadership team for the past seven years. In his new position, he takes on responsibility for all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting and forecasting, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and the company's strategic financial initiatives.

New responsibilities

KeyData Cyber specialises in Identity and Access Management (IAM) services and recently expanded its presence with the acquisition of BeyondID. Paudel's work played a critical role in this transaction, and he is expected to continue guiding financial strategy as the company navigates further expansion.

Paudel will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Dustin Hoff. His remit will include charting KeyData Cyber's financial direction as it seeks to address the rising complexity of digital security challenges across various industries.

"Ram has been instrumental in our recent growth initiatives. Under his leadership, the finance department has improved efficiency, enriched analytics capabilities, and supported KeyData Cyber's expansion into new markets. His keen financial acumen, deep understanding of our business, and proven leadership will be pivotal in charting our financial strategy going forward," said Dustin Hoff, Chief Executive Officer of KeyData Cyber.

As CFO, Paudel brings credentials as a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. His background spans financial operations, strategic planning, and corporate governance, underscored by experience in internal controls, fiscal planning, focused financial reporting, and performance improvement projects. He joined KeyData Cyber in October 2018 as financial controller and progressed through roles of increasing responsibility.

Financial framework for growth

Commenting on his appointment, Paudel noted the opportunities ahead for the company, particularly as cybersecurity threats continue to evolve. He emphasised the need to maintain a robust financial foundation to support the business's ambitions.

"The cybersecurity market presents a significant opportunity as organizations face increasingly sophisticated threats. As CFO, I'll focus on building a financial framework that supports sustainable growth, enabling our teams to innovate rapidly and deliver the solutions our customers need to solve complex identity challenges and secure their digital ecosystems," said Paudel.

Paudel's experience also extends to technology, giving him what the company describes as a blend of financial and technical acumen. He has indicated plans to use artificial intelligence to promote scalability and cost-effectiveness within the business, aiming for improved efficiency and transparency in financial management practices.

In his new role, Paudel will seek to optimise the use of AI to strengthen KeyData Cyber's financial operations. According to the company, this approach is expected to help the organisation remain resilient in the face of industry changes, while supporting rapid service delivery and compliance with regulatory standards across sector clients.

KeyData Cyber focuses on supporting clients with complex identity management requirements. The company has experience managing over 50 million identities and has completed more than 1,000 deployments, with a client base that spans a range of highly regulated environments.
