Saviynt expands platform to secure all human & non-human identities

Yesterday

Saviynt has expanded its identity security cloud platform to now protect all forms of organisational identities, including non-human identities such as workloads, bots, and credentials, in addition to its existing support for non-human identity service accounts.

The company stated that automation, artificial intelligence, and cloud-native development have led to a significant increase in the number of non-human identities (NHIs) within enterprise environments.

According to Saviynt, NHIs can outnumber human users by as much as 100 to 1 in some DevOps environments, creating new security challenges for organisations.

Saviynt's Identity Cloud delivers features such as full visibility, posture management, and actionable recommendations for all identities, aiming to help enterprises discover and secure every NHI.

The platform also provides controls for NHIs, offering deep insight into activity history, usage patterns, and prioritised risk insights without the need for extra tools or complex configuration.

Paul Zolfaghari, President at Saviynt, commented on the updated offering: "Our mission has been to secure every identity. With Saviynt's Identity Cloud, we are delivering a converged platform that protects the entire modern enterprise – from their employee workforce to their external partners, from their cloud workloads to their AI agents."

"Saviynt has demonstrated it is a complete solution. We are agnostic about the type of identities, we manage them all. This is the future of identity security."

Saviynt highlighted that its NHI capabilities are designed to simplify and secure complex identity environments, enabling organisations to eliminate blind spots across cloud and hybrid ecosystems.

The platform supports functions to discover all non-human identities and their access in a unified view, analyse the security posture of these identities with granular detail, and visualise their activity to enable compliance and rapid response to incidents.

The company noted the increasing demand for a converged and intelligent identity security platform that can govern both human and machine identities, particularly as advancements such as Agentic AI become more prevalent.

Saviynt's expansion in this area comes alongside its plans to present industry insights at several sessions, including a workshop focused on non-human identities.

Ehud Amiri, Vice President of Product Management, and Henrique Teixeira, Senior Vice President of Strategy at Saviynt, will lead a workshop titled "Non-Human Identity Workshop", examining the rising importance of securing NHIs including workloads, bots, AI agents, and secrets.

The workshop will address the evolving risks NHIs pose to enterprises, particularly as generative AI technologies are adopted, and will provide practical approaches to identifying and managing these risks using Saviynt's methodologies.

Another session, "GE Healthcare's Journey to Proactive Identity Security", will feature Vibhuti Sinha, Chief Product Officer at Saviynt, along with GE Healthcare's Joey Tyler.

This session will discuss GE Healthcare's move to Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) and the resulting improvements in risk reduction and compliance efficiency. Sinha and Tyler intend to present practical insights and benefits derived from this transformation within a large healthcare context.

Jeff Margolies, Chief Product and Strategy Officer at Saviynt, will lead a session named "B2B-IAM Smackdown: Defending the Future of Partner Identity", addressing the emerging threats to partner identity security.

Margolies will explore the challenges of securing third-party access and ways for enterprises to defend their partner ecosystems using the converged identity platform.

David Lee, Field Chief Technology Officer at Saviynt, will present on the topic "Identity: The Superhero No One Invited to the Boardroom", where he will discuss the foundational role of Identity and Access Management (IAM) in enterprise technology and security.

Lee plans to explain how developments in AI, decentralised identities, and machine identities are altering the identity landscape, making the case for placing greater emphasis and resources on IAM solutions within organisations.

Saviynt's expanded platform aims to provide enterprise customers with a unified solution to manage and secure all digital identities at scale as corporate environments grow more complex and interconnected through digital transformation and automation initiatives.
