ActiumAI & SmythOS launch universal AI adaptor for business

Tue, 4th Nov 2025

ActiumAI and SmythOS have formed an international partnership to deliver what they describe as the world's first universal AI adaptor for enterprise workflow automation, spanning industries and languages.

The collaboration brings together Australia-based ActiumAI's intelligent enterprise workflow automation technology and US-based SmythOS's AI agent orchestration platform. This integration aims to allow organisations to enhance business processes, improve compliance and governance, and automate workflows across various functions.

Technology integration

The new offering combines SmythOS's capabilities for coordinating AI agents with ActiumAI's technology suite, which includes the Intelligent Enterprise Workflow Automation (IEWA), compliance platform ArchimediusAI, and Transformational Intelligence for client-specific context mapping. The universal adaptor is designed for integration across a range of enterprise applications and platforms, regardless of industry or geography.

Alexander De Ridder, Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer at SmythOS, said:

"ActiumAI shares our vision of making advanced AI agent technology accessible, practical, and impactful for real businesses."

The integrated services claim to address several common challenges faced by businesses, including productivity constraints, complex compliance obligations, lack of transparency in processes, increased workloads for employees, delays in processing, and rising operational expenses.

Productivity, compliance and cost

The companies state that automating compliance checks, document review, and administrative tasks can lower operating costs owing to reduced manual labour and time requirements. Automated workflows and real-time AI insights aim to accelerate business decision-making, while digital records and automated compliance approaches are designed to provide a comprehensive, unalterable audit trail that meets corporate governance and regulatory requirements.

Dr David Millhouse, Founder of ActiumAI, emphasised the compliance element that the partnership aims to introduce across industries and jurisdictions.

"This alliance bolsters the necessary guardrails needed for AI through compliance-proofing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and IEWA deployments across any organisation, in any industry, in any language, and in any country."

The universal adaptor utilises ActiumAI's stack to automatically generate structured, decision-ready outputs tailored to each client's requirements, and map them against relevant legal and compliance frameworks, using the company's proprietary ArchimediusAI platform. SmythOS provides orchestration of these agents and integrations across back-end databases and enterprise portals, boosting the scope and flexibility of deployments.

Dr Millhouse described the collaborative approach as one designed to provide broad utility to a wide array of businesses: "Together, we're bringing Rolls‐Royce quality and Ford V8 versatility to more firms and more countries than ever before."

"This partnership delivers stronger compliance, improved productivity, reduced costs, and unprecedented transparency for businesses globally. The alignment of ActiumAI's portfolio - led by its context-driven approach and corporate governance - with the SmythOS agent platform will deliver more reliable, compliant and productivity-boosting automation worldwide."

Application and outcomes

The two companies report that the universal AI adaptor can be used in various sectors, including law, strata, public relations, and others, aiming to serve enterprises in any country and language. The alliance also aims to simplify the processing of documentation and requests, reducing repetition for employees and delivering outcomes ready for approval.

Reported deployment results include improved productivity for both skilled and semi-skilled staff, reductions in process cycle times, and increased consistency in outcomes. Benefits are described as compounding at scale, supporting stronger margins and greater service capacity for businesses adopting the technology.

Michael Umansky, Co-Founder & CEO of SmythOS, noted the geographical significance and expansion opportunities provided by the alliance.

"We are incredibly excited to partner with ActiumAI. This collaboration represents a massive opportunity to bring our innovative AI agent platform to a broader audience, and we are particularly enthusiastic about ActiumAI's vision for growth in the Asia-Pacific market."
