Coralogix has introduced an AI agent designed to make observability data accessible to technical and non-technical users and has reported surpassing a USD $1 billion valuation following a new funding round.
Expansion of observability across enterprise functions
The company, a provider of full-stack observability platforms, has launched "Olly," described as the industry's first AI agent of its kind. Olly aims to enable individuals, ranging from product managers to business leaders, to interact with observability data and receive real-time, actionable insights. This approach is intended to unify business and engineering teams around shared objectives by facilitating data-driven decision-making.
The announcement coincides with Coralogix's completion of a USD $115 million funding round. The company indicated that this investment will support the global rollout and commercialisation of Olly, as well as play a role in developing new observability capabilities.
Moving beyond traditional observability
Historically, observability has been a tool for engineers to troubleshoot technical systems. Coralogix states that the field has arrived at a turning point, with potential value for all enterprise stakeholders. According to the company, Olly is designed to go beyond traditional approaches—such as focusing on logs, metrics, and traces—by delivering contextual answers, automating root cause analysis, and proactively highlighting opportunities and risks.
The AI agent achieves this by combining advanced AI technologies with detailed telemetry data, enabling system-level understanding and continuous assistance for multiple teams. By facilitating a prompt-driven interface, Olly is positioned as a resource for resolving queries that require a broad or deep understanding of system operations.
"Olly is more than just an observability tool; it's an intelligent assistant that empowers employees to gain full access to all their data and make better decisions," said Ariel Assaraf, CEO, Coralogix.
Yoni Farin, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Coralogix, said, "AI is not just part of the future; we believe it's the foundation of it. That's why we've made a bold, foundational change to embed AI into the core of our platform."
Supporting enterprise adoption of AI
Coralogix's platform is built on a streaming architecture, which processes data in real time as it is transmitted. The company maintains that this design delivers observability at scale while maintaining efficiency and speed. This infrastructure, combined with the company's acquisition of Aporia—an AI observability and guardrails provider—has enabled Coralogix to view AI as a distinct technology stack.
Enterprises adopting AI projects face oversight and performance challenges. Coralogix's AI Centre evaluates generative AI models, aiming to ensure reliable operations, accurate results, and reduced risks. Olly, in this setting, enables teams to access insights about not only software systems but also AI deployments within organisations.
Features and operational benefits
Olly functions as an "agentic" AI system, intended to not only detect alerts from telemetry data but also to interpret questions and guide user action. The AI agent can respond to specific prompts, such as inquiries into payment flow errors or user login issues, as well as broader questions regarding user experience with services.
The company identified several key features of Olly. The agent is designed to streamline telemetry searches and reduce mean time to repair by eliminating the need for manual browsing of system data. Olly also consolidates and interprets diverse sources—logs, metrics, and traces—to offer almost instant root cause identification, which is expected to save engineers time.
In addition, the agent provides guided recommendations by quickly detecting and diagnosing errors, and suggests possible solutions for frequent problems. While it assists with error detection and diagnostic advice, Olly leaves final decision-making and solution implementation to the user.
General availability
According to the company, Olly will become generally available in early Q3 2025.
