Eventus Security has won the Masters of Risk - Services award at Season 12 of the India Risk Management Awards. CNBC-TV18 presented the award in association with ICICI Lombard.

The recognition adds to another recent industry honour for the cybersecurity services provider, which was also named the 2026 Community Choice Winner for Cybersecurity Service Provider of the Year at the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.

The India Risk Management Awards recognise organisations for risk management practices, innovation and work that helps build resilient business environments. Eventus Security was selected following an evaluation by a jury from a competitive field of nominations.

The company provides managed cybersecurity services to organisations seeking to address cyber risks that overlap with operational, regulatory and broader business concerns. It serves customers across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the United States.

Eventus Security said its services include round-the-clock security operations, managed detection and response, cyber threat intelligence, digital forensics and incident response, vulnerability management and cyber resilience. Its broader portfolio also includes red teaming, breach and attack simulation, and application security.

The latest award comes as companies face growing pressure to treat cyber risk as part of broader business continuity and governance planning, rather than as a standalone technology issue. That shift has increased demand for services that combine monitoring, intelligence, incident response and preparedness.

Broader risk

Eventus Security described the award as recognition of its approach to helping enterprises manage a more connected set of risks. It said organisations now need coordinated oversight of security threats, regulatory exposure and operational disruption.

Vikas Somani, Vice President - India Sales at Eventus Security, commented on the award and the company's market focus.

"Cyber risk today is closely connected with operational continuity, regulatory exposure and business resilience. Organisations need more than individual security controls; they need the ability to anticipate threats, respond decisively and continue operating with confidence. At Eventus Security, we bring together intelligence, technology and human expertise to help customers manage this complexity. The 'Masters of Risk - Services' recognition is a testament to the dedication of our teams and the trust our customers and partners place in us," said Vikas Somani, Vice President - India Sales at Eventus Security.

Eventus Security has positioned itself around managed services that link security operations with incident response and resilience planning. This model is intended to help customers identify threats earlier and improve response times when incidents occur.

Recent honours

The latest award follows another recognition this year, giving the business two industry wins in quick succession. While such awards do not provide financial detail, they can help cybersecurity firms raise their profile in a market where trust, service breadth and response record are key factors for buyers.

The company has highlighted artificial intelligence and intelligence-led operations as part of its service delivery model. Across sectors, businesses have increasingly looked for external security partners as attacks grow more complex and internal teams face shortages of specialist expertise.

For Eventus Security, the award also underlines the growing overlap between cybersecurity and enterprise risk management. That has become a central theme in the sector as boardrooms assess not only data loss and system compromise, but also downtime, compliance exposure and reputational damage.

Its customer footprint across several regions points to demand beyond the Indian market, particularly among organisations seeking a single provider across multiple geographies. The company's range of services suggests an effort to cover both detection and post-incident work, alongside preventive testing and resilience measures.

The Masters of Risk - Services category focuses on service providers rather than end-user organisations, reflecting the role third-party security specialists now play in corporate risk planning. In that context, Somani said cyber risk is "closely connected with operational continuity, regulatory exposure and business resilience."
