Jerry Harvey Audio has introduced 10 new DiamondCast finishes for its custom in-ear monitors.

The finishes are available across the company's custom IEM line and can be ordered as full custom shells or faceplates, giving buyers more visual options for stage, studio, or personal listening use. Customers can also choose different finishes for each earpiece, select matching pairs, or combine DiamondCast with other shell and faceplate materials.

DiamondCast is made from high-density resin with reclaimed diamond chips embedded in the material. The diamond fragments come from chips produced by professional diamond cutters, providing a conflict-free source for the decorative element.

The material is CNC-machined into shells or faceplates for the monitors. Because the diamond particles are distributed differently in each block, every finish shows natural variation and no two sets are exactly the same.

Each order using the DiamondCast finish includes a Certificate of Authenticity. The launch adds 10 colourways to the range: Blue Steel, Electric Moss, Royal Static, Scarlet, Lagoon, Dark Indigo, Phantom Black, Pink Voltage, Abyss Teal, and Ember.

The move reflects the continued importance of customisation in a specialist audio segment where fit and appearance often sit alongside sound quality in purchase decisions. Custom in-ear monitors are widely used by touring musicians, sound engineers, and enthusiasts who want products built to the shape of their ears.

Founded in 2007 by audio engineer Jerry Harvey, the Orlando-based manufacturer makes custom and universal-fit in-ear monitors. Its products are aimed at artists, engineers, and listeners seeking personalised fit alongside tuned audio performance.

Customisation has long been a distinguishing feature of the premium in-ear monitor market, where manufacturers compete on materials, finishes, and bespoke design options as well as technical specifications. By adding more decorative finishes, Jerry Harvey Audio is extending its offering in an area that can command extra spending from buyers seeking a distinct appearance.

DiamondCast shells cost USD $200 per shell, per side, while DiamondCast faceplates cost USD $75 per faceplate, per side.

The material also has an external design connection. Tim McKenzie of McKenzie Penworks, whose work is associated with DiamondCast, described its use in custom audio products as a logical step from other handcrafted applications.

"Customization has always been an important part of the JH Audio experience," said Jerry Harvey, founder, JH Audio.

"DiamondCast gives customers another way to make their monitors personal, with a material that looks different in every build."

McKenzie also commented on the development of the material and its use in the audio sector.

"DiamondCast began as a way to bring real diamond material into handcrafted objects in a form that could be machined, finished, and made truly personal," said Tim McKenzie, McKenzie Penworks.

"Seeing it used in custom in-ear monitors is a natural extension of that idea, giving each pair its own depth, character, and individuality."

The launch centres on aesthetics rather than a new acoustic design, but it underlines how accessory and finish choices remain commercially important in higher-end personal audio. For companies serving musicians and specialist listeners, visual differentiation can be one of the clearest ways to broaden a product line without changing the underlying monitor platform.

For buyers, the appeal lies in the combination of bespoke fit and a finish that varies from set to set because of the embedded diamond material. For Jerry Harvey Audio, it creates another paid option within its existing custom monitor range, with each pair accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
