Make unveils Make Grid for real-time automation & AI mapping
Make has announced the launch of Make Grid, a real-time auto-generated visual map that provides organisations with a complete overview of their automation and AI landscapes.
The new solution is aimed at businesses experiencing rapid change and expansion, particularly those seeking to maintain control and oversight as their automation needs become more complex. Make Grid enables visibility into every connection, scenario, and dependency in both traditional and AI-powered workflows, supporting teams in scaling and adapting with assurance.
Real-time visibility
According to Make, the platform gives businesses real-time insight into how their automation architecture is structured, including elements involving Make AI Agents. This centralised, interactive map aims to make it easier to manage expanding workflows and ensure that all components are operating as intended.
Among the features highlighted are real-time visualisation, built-in observability and monitoring, and analytical tools intended to optimise performance and efficiency. There are also forthcoming features like visual documentation and AI-generated descriptions, which are expected to further support collaborative work and system understanding.
Make is currently being used by more than 250,000 organisations worldwide. The platform focuses on enabling users to construct workflows—from basic process automations to more advanced, AI-powered systems—without needing to write code. Make Grid represents the latest development in the company's strategy to deliver tools that increase flexibility, governance, and control as organisations integrate more applications and AI functionalities.
Addressing complexity as automation grows
As automation expands within organisations, complexity becomes a significant challenge. With teams adding new apps and deploying AI, automation environments can quickly become difficult to oversee. Make Grid is designed to offer clarity at scale, helping technical teams, business builders, and strategy leaders to monitor critical dependencies, system-wide interactions, and performance indicators.
Make Grid enables users to visually orchestrate their automation and AI networks. This includes observing how individual elements interact, identifying points of failure or inefficiency, and utilising analytics to improve outcomes. Built-in monitoring features facilitate troubleshooting by providing a transparent view of the automation landscape.
The platform is also intended to support better collaboration. Shared visual documentation ensures that all stakeholders have the same understanding of automated processes, and the planned addition of AI-generated descriptions is expected to make system documentation faster and easier to maintain.
"The SaaS sector is constantly evolving, with new APIs and the rise of AI. Make Grid is about staying agile as your automation grows. We've created a visual-first solution that turns your automation network from a black box into a shared, navigable system. It's built to support scale, transparency, reduce risk, and speed up innovation, without slowing anyone down," said Patrik Simek, Co-founder and CTO of Make.
Open Beta availability
Make Grid has been released in Open Beta for all Make users engaging with automation builds. The company states that the visual-first approach aims to empower users in organisations of all sizes, from technical professionals implementing workflows to decision-makers guiding automation strategy.
The launch of Make Grid accompanies Make's recent introduction of Make AI Agents, extending the platform's capabilities into more advanced forms of automation. Both tools are designed to give organisations greater confidence and control as they adapt to technological changes and the growing importance of automation in business processes.
