Optiv launches AI partner portal built on Channelscaler

Tue, 9th Jun 2026 (Today)

Optiv has launched an AI-driven partner portal built on Channelscaler to support its partner ecosystem.

The portal brings partner onboarding, content sharing and incentive discovery into a single governed environment for Optiv sellers and partners. It also includes an AI agent that helps sellers find partner incentives and programme details without relying on email chains or older portal systems.

According to Optiv, this is its first partner management portal built around AI. The cyber advisory and security services provider works with nearly 6,000 customers across a range of industries and depends on a broad partner network as part of that model.

Channelscaler said the portal automates applications for new partners and guides them through onboarding. It also includes reporting and metrics to track progress through the partner journey.

The content layer is built on a centralised content management system, giving partners quicker access to marketing materials, promotional offers, pricing details, product information and updates. Optiv said the system is intended to simplify approvals and distribution while reducing the risk of outdated material being shared with sellers or partners.

Channel focus

The launch reflects an ongoing effort by large channel organisations to simplify how they work with partners, especially when partner networks span multiple vendors, programmes and incentive structures. In practice, these environments often rely on a mix of email, separate repositories and legacy tools, which can slow onboarding and make current information harder to find.

For Optiv, the portal is meant to give partners a self-managed route to enablement resources, collaboration and programme information. That aligns with a broader market shift towards more automated partner relationship management systems, particularly among companies seeking tighter governance over content and approvals.

Hunter Haverty outlined how Optiv views the project.

"Optiv partnered with Channelscaler to power an industry-leading, secure partner portal that scales how we engage and enable our partner ecosystem. The new portal delivers a consistent, self-managed experience for partners, simplifying access to enablement, tools and collaboration while creating a single, governed environment for interaction with Optiv sellers. This approach reduces friction, accelerates alignment and allows us to support growing partner demand without added complexity, ensuring every partner relationship operates with clarity, efficiency and trust," said Hunter Haverty, Sr. Director, Partner Programs and Operations, Optiv.

AI layer

A central element of the portal is its use of agentic AI to surface incentive information for Optiv sellers. Rather than searching programme documentation or internal correspondence, users can ask the system for relevant incentives and programme details.

The feature addresses one of the more difficult aspects of channel operations, where incentive schemes can change frequently and vary by vendor, product or partner status. A governed portal with AI-based retrieval could reduce delays in matching sellers and partners to current offers, although the companies did not disclose commercial terms or deployment scale.

Channelscaler has been building its position in partner relationship management software and said it was named a leader in the IDC MarketScape assessment for worldwide PRM software. The assessment cited channel expertise, support for complex and multi-tier models, breadth of features and investment in AI.

The Optiv deployment also points to rising demand for partner systems that combine workflow automation with search and retrieval tools based on generative AI. Across the channel software market, vendors are trying to show that AI can do more than answer basic queries, particularly in programme guidance, content discovery and operational support.

Kenneth Fox said the work with Optiv focused on building a portal around that model.

"Collaborating with the Optiv team to realize our joint vision of a pioneering AI-driven portal for Optiv's partner ecosystem and identifying the appropriate incentives through agentic AI is a true pleasure for the Channelscaler team. Providing Optiv the ability to create competitive advantage through technology and ensure ease of doing business for both partners and Optiv users led to a very rewarding outcome," said Kenneth Fox, Founder and CTO, Channelscaler.
