Snowflake, TVS Next tie up on NexOps for manufacturers
Snowflake has signed TVS Next as a services partner and said the consulting firm now runs its NexOps manufacturing data platform on Snowflake.
TVS Next describes NexOps as an operational technology and information technology intelligence layer. It aggregates plant operations data with enterprise data. Snowflake said the arrangement gives manufacturing customers a single view across those sources.
The companies said TVS Next has taken Snowflake's Select tier as a Snowflake AI Data Cloud Services Partner. They also outlined joint go-to-market work focused on manufacturing customers.
Platform use
TVS Next said it uses Snowflake as the data and AI platform behind NexOps. The company positioned NexOps as a way for manufacturers to integrate data from plant systems and business systems.
Snowflake said the platform modernises data pipelines and strengthens governance controls. It also said the approach supports AI projects at global scale. The companies linked the work to common manufacturing issues such as delayed data and fragmented access across sites.
TVS Next said NexOps consolidates several types of data in one environment. It cited structured data, semi-structured data, internet of things data and partner data. Snowflake said the system uses secure sharing and elastic performance features.
The companies also described a design approach aimed at multi-site manufacturers. They said NexOps centralises real-time streaming data and plant insights in a single location. They said it also centralises AI processing. They linked that structure to reduced movement of data across systems and more consistent decision-making.
Manufacturing use
The companies listed a set of manufacturing use cases they said customers can run on the platform. They said the set includes automatic downtime capture and overall equipment effectiveness improvement. They also listed predictive maintenance, quality forecasting, multi-plant performance visibility, digital twins and energy intelligence.
TVS Next said its teams use Snowflake tools for model development and platform governance. It cited Snowpark Container Services and Snowflake Cortex AI for building governed machine learning models. It cited role-based access control for platform access management.
Snowflake said TVS Next has also used the platform internally. It said this use has influenced decisions across the company. It also said it has supported the launch of new offerings, including NexOps-powered manufacturing intelligence, global market data hubs, advisory and forecasting services.
Partnership plans
The companies said they plan joint go-to-market initiatives in manufacturing. They also said TVS Next will develop Snowflake-native accelerators for the sector. They described the aim as repeatable solutions for complex factory networks.
They also set out areas of future product work. They cited conversational assistants for operators and AI-driven decision support for plant leaders. They framed this as part of an industry shift towards more autonomous factory operations.
Snowflake operates a cloud data platform business. It reports a customer base of more than 12,600 organisations worldwide. TVS Next operates as a digital and AI consulting firm with a focus on industry solutions.
"For manufacturers to achieve true competitive advantage, they need more than just tools - they need a scalable, connected AI-ready data foundation. NexOps, built on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, integrates and standardizes complex data models, enabling predictive insights that are essential to driving business value for a connected value chain in the manufacturing industry. Our partnership with TVS Next is the engine that will empower our joint customers to transition from isolated projects to comprehensive, cross-plant performance visibility, unlock value from AI, and deliver measurable ROI to their leadership teams," said Vijayant Rai, Managing Director, Snowflake India, Snowflake.
TVS Next said it expects the partnership to shape manufacturing engagements that combine its consulting framework with Snowflake's platform.
"By combining the strength of Snowflake's AI Data Cloud with NexOps and TVS Next's Inspire Consulting Framework, we're giving manufacturers the agility, scalability, and intelligence to operate smarter and greener. This partnership is about turning data into action and action into growth", said Vinod Krishnan, MD & CEO, TVS Next.
