Syrenis launches US hub to tap privacy tech demand
UK-headquartered Syrenis has established a US presence, setting up a team focused on go-to-market work across North America as demand grows for consent and preference management under state-level privacy laws.
The company said the new US operation will concentrate on sales, partnerships and customer engagement. Syrenis said the move strengthens its position with enterprises that face more complex privacy, consent and data governance requirements.
Syrenis pointed to rapid growth in the US market for privacy and consent management technologies. It attributed that growth to a fragmented landscape of state privacy legislation and to rising enterprise demand for data governance approaches that work across customer channels and internal systems.
Adam Binks, CEO of Syrenis, described North America as a major commercial priority for the business.
"With heightened regulatory scrutiny and a growing patchwork of state privacy laws shaping enterprise compliance strategies, North America represents our single biggest growth opportunity," said Adam Binks, CEO, Syrenis.
Syrenis sells software used by organisations to manage customer consent and communication preferences. The company positions the platform as relevant for firms that operate across multiple jurisdictions and face varying requirements on personal data collection, use and retention.
State Law Patchwork
US privacy compliance remains shaped by state initiatives rather than a single federal framework. This has pushed many large businesses to track evolving obligations across jurisdictions while maintaining consistent customer-facing processes.
Syrenis said the US team will work in close alignment with its UK headquarters. It said this approach will maintain continuity across product development, security and customer delivery. It also said the US presence will add local market expertise and a faster response for US enterprise customers.
"We're seeing a clear shift in the market. Enterprises want more flexibility, faster implementation and a platform that adapts to how their business operates. Establishing a dedicated US GTM presence allows us to be more agile and closer to our customers," said Binks.
Syrenis said its technology supports consent, preference and data usage management in line with frameworks such as the EU's General Data Protection Regulation and US state laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act. It also referenced emerging state privacy laws across the US.
The company described its work as focused on multi-jurisdiction environments. Many large enterprises operate multiple brands and customer databases. They also rely on a range of marketing and customer service tools. Consent and preference management tools often sit between those systems and govern how customer data can be used for different purposes.
GTM Focus
Syrenis framed the US expansion as centred on execution, rather than a symbolic foothold. It said being present in the market will shape partnership development and local customer engagement.
"This isn't about opening an office for the sake of it. This is about execution. Being on the ground in the US allows us to scale revenue, build deeper partnerships and support enterprise buyers to create the conditions for growth in real time," said Binks.
The company said the US go-to-market operation will initially be based in Atlanta. It also said it plans continued investment through 2026.
Syrenis said it manages more than 1.2 billion data records worldwide. It said it works with highly regulated enterprises, including companies in the Fortune 500.
The company said it will continue to run product development and security activity in alignment with the UK headquarters while expanding its North American commercial presence.
