TechDay is celebrating its 19 years, evolving from a single technology title launched in 2006 (The Channel) into a global enterprise technology publishing network.
Today, TechDay operates 53 specialist technology news sites, covering enterprise IT, cybersecurity, cloud, data centres, fintech, telecoms, martech and digital commerce across major international markets.
A key milestone in early 2025 was the launch of 16 new sites across the US and Canada, significantly expanding TechDay's presence in North America and strengthening its coverage across enterprise technology audiences.
This marked one of the company's largest expansion phases to date, extending its footprint across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, India, the UK and North America.
Jake McAndrew joined TechDay as the Toronto-based Interview Editor, attending events, conducting interviews, and capturing localised Canadian stories.
Alongside expansion, 2025 saw ongoing improvements to editorial workflows, publishing systems and content distribution across the network, aimed at increasing speed and consistency across all sites.
Recent survey results indicated continued improvements in publishing efficiency and responsiveness, reinforcing TechDay's focus on delivering fast, specialist technology journalism at scale.
"Nineteen years in publishing has reinforced how quickly technology journalism evolves. Reader habits, platforms and discovery continue to shift, but credible local reporting still matters. Our focus is building a publishing network that combines strong editorial coverage, visual storytelling and in-person reporting with the way audiences now discover and consume journalism," said Sean Mitchell, Publisher, TechDay.
The publication looks forward to entering its 20th year, with a focus on continuing to scale its specialist technology coverage and international publishing network.
