TransLogic unveils MYtranslogic cloud for hospital tubes

Wed, 4th Feb 2026

TransLogic has launched MYtranslogic, a cloud platform for monitoring hospital pneumatic tube systems across North America.

The company said the platform provides real-time visibility into tube system information and remote access from any internet-connected device. TransLogic positions it as a way for hospital operations and engineering teams to respond to system alarms faster and reduce unplanned interruptions.

Remote monitoring

Pneumatic tube systems move medications, laboratory samples and other items across hospital sites. When systems go offline, staff can switch to manual transport. That approach can tie up clinical and facilities teams, particularly in larger campuses.

TransLogic said MYtranslogic allows authorised teams to view critical system information remotely, whether they are on site or off site. The company said this access allows teams to clear alarms, identify issues that may lead to shutdowns, review carrier transactions and check component inventory.

TransLogic said the platform reduces issue resolution times from hours to seconds in some cases. The company linked faster intervention with fewer minor faults escalating into service interruptions.

"This development in tube system management keeps clinical staff focused on patient care rather than handling technical issues, while giving engineering teams the tools they need to maintain optimal system performance around the clock," said Adam Tappen, Senior Vice President of Sales and Service, TransLogic North America. "MYtranslogic delivers the secure access healthcare facilities need to manage their transport automation systems while maintaining the highest standards of data protection."

Subscription model

TransLogic sells MYtranslogic as a subscription. The company said it works with TransLogic Software Version 9 through a one-way API feed.

TransLogic also linked the release to a wider software update cycle for its tube system estate in healthcare. It said it has prepared incentives for early adopters and plans ongoing upgrades.

Security focus

Healthcare providers have tightened scrutiny of supplier access to operational technology and patient-adjacent systems. That trend has increased attention on controls around remote access, software updates and hosting arrangements.

TransLogic said MYtranslogic builds on its security programme. The company said it has added HITRUST product certification and renewed a HITRUST environment certification. It said the dual certification demonstrates alignment with regulations and industry-defined requirements around cybersecurity, privacy and data protection.

"Modern healthcare demands both immediate system access and uncompromising security," said Scott Fincher, Product Director, Transport Automation, TransLogic and Swisslog Healthcare. "MYtranslogic gives facilities the power to address issues through secure channels, preventing small problems from becoming expensive operational delays that disrupt patient care and compromise safety protocols."

Software changes

TransLogic said Software Version 9 includes security features that it described as aligned with current industry standards. The company also set out changes to how its tube system software handles data.

It said Microsoft SQL Database replaces PostgreSQL flat files. TransLogic linked that change to improved access to data.

The company said the software runs as a Windows service. It also said the data can sit on a segregated database server, which can influence how hospital IT teams structure access and network separation.

Partnership work

TransLogic said it developed MYtranslogic in partnership with DevIQ. The company described the product as a cloud-based repository for tube system monitoring information.

TransLogic operates as part of Swisslog Healthcare. Swisslog Healthcare supplies automation products and software for hospital pharmacy and transport workflows.

TransLogic said its products are manufactured in the US. It also pointed to North American supply chain and quality control expectations.

The company said MYtranslogic is available for North America healthcare facilities and works alongside its latest tube system software release.
