In what most systems administrators may well imagine were the good old days, work was as much a place as an activity. Today, people work from anywhere. While this delivers advantages including flexibility, potentially better productivity and the promise of an improved work/life balance while attracting staff regardless of where they might live, it is not without its challenges. Security and access to company resources is more complex, while appropriate devices, connectivity and even workspaces must be considered.
