Calero channel chief Jason Wieser named to 2026 CRN list
Calero said CRN has named Jason Wieser, Senior Vice President of Channel Sales, to its 2026 Channel Chiefs list.
CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, publishes the annual list of IT vendor and distribution executives. Calero said the recognition reflects its channel model and its focus on partner relationships.
Wieser has been recognised on the CRN Channel Chiefs list before. Calero said he previously received the award in 2023.
Calero is based in Rochester, New York. The company positions itself as a provider of Technology Business Management software and services.
Channel strategy
Calero said Wieser has nearly two decades of experience in channel strategy and execution. The company said its channel approach centres on visibility and measurable outcomes across technology spend categories that include SaaS, mobility, and telecom.
"The channel is evolving, and growth today comes from helping partners move beyond transactions to long-term customer value. At Calero, we're focused on building an ecosystem that supports that shift - one that's structured, transparent, and designed to help partners create a sustainable pipeline," said Jason Wieser, Senior Vice President of Channel Sales, Calero.
Calero described its programme as disciplined and focused on partner ramp-up and differentiation. It said partners use its platform for technology spend visibility and insight into customer environments.
"We don't compete with our partners or go around them; our model strengthens their position with customers by providing the visibility and expertise needed to identify inefficiencies, clarify technology spend, and turn that intelligence into meaningful, ongoing customer conversations," said Wieser.
Product scope
Calero said its platform spans telecom management, mobility management, SaaS management, and market data management. The company said it serves more than 3,000 customers across 102 countries.
Calero groups its offering into three areas. It described Technology Expense Management as software focused on technology spend across categories including market data, telecom, mobile, and SaaS. It described Technology Lifecycle Management as a platform used for IT asset management, inventory visibility, lifecycle tracking, and processes for asset reallocation and disposal from procurement to retirement. It described Managed Technology Services as managed services for IT resource management.
CRN said it selects Channel Chiefs from vendor and distribution organisations. It said the list recognises executives who shape channel strategy and drive collaboration across the IT channel.
Jennifer Follett is Vice President, U.S. Content, Executive Editor at CRN. She commented on this year's list.
"Leaders recognized as CRN Channel Chiefs this year have demonstrated unwavering commitment to their partners and the broader IT channel," said Jennifer Follett, Vice President, U.S. Content, Executive Editor, CRN. "Their vision, passion and drive for innovation continue to shape the future of our industry. We are proud to celebrate their achievements and the positive impact they make every day."
Calero said it will continue to run its partner model through its channel sales organisation under Wieser's leadership.
