GTIA has named three new voting members to its Board of Directors for the 2026-2027 term and appointed one non-voting board adviser.

The new voting members are Andrew Allen, non-executive chairman at Aabyss; Jennifer Anaya, senior vice president of global marketing at Ingram Micro; and Jennifer Roy, chief executive officer at Nucleus Networks. Luis Giraldo, chief evangelist at ScalePad, joins as a non-voting board adviser.

The changes come as the Global Technology Industry Association refreshes its leadership group for the new term. The directors were elected by members in good standing and will help guide the organisation's strategic direction.

According to GTIA, Allen brings more than 20 years of experience across business and technology. He has served as vice chair of the GTIA MSP Interest Group for the UK and Ireland and as a judge for the Spotlight Awards.

Anaya brings more than two decades of experience in global brand strategy, customer engagement and community-led growth. She has also served on GTIA advisory councils.

Roy brings more than a decade of managed service provider leadership experience. Her previous GTIA roles include co-chair of the GTIA ITSP Interest Group and the North America Executive Committee.

She has also been involved in Global Women in Technology and helped create the GTIA GWIT Playbook, which provides guidance on recruiting, hiring and retaining women in technology. Roy has also taken part in the GTIA Mentorship programme and is a founding member of GTIA's first Trust Circle.

Giraldo has more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry and previously served as vice-chair of the GTIA SaaS Ecosystem Advisory Council.

Continuing board members are Scott Barlow, chair of the GTIA Board of Directors and chief evangelist and global head of community at Sophos; Rob Rae, board vice chair and corporate vice president of community and partner experience at Pax8; and Tracy Pound, immediate past chair of the GTIA Board of Directors and founder and managing director of Maximity.

Other continuing members are Toni Clayton-Hine, chief marketing officer at EY Americas; Carrie Green, chief executive officer of The CanIT Collective; Jason Magee, chief executive officer of Cynet Security; Peter Melby, chief executive officer of New Charter Technologies; Kimberly Penn, president of Webtropolis; Joanna Riley, chief executive officer and founder of Censia; and John Scola, global vice president of partner business development at SAP.

Board transition

Two directors are leaving the board at the end of their terms: Quy "Q" Nguyen, founder and chief executive officer of Allyance Communications, and Steven Capper, chief digital information officer at Carnival UK.

GTIA credited Nguyen with helping provide leadership continuity during the association's launch and inaugural year, as well as supporting its focus on vendor-agnostic collaboration and charitable work. Capper brought an enterprise perspective to governance and technology discussions, the association said.

Dan Wensley, chief executive officer of GTIA, commented on the incoming and continuing members.

"The GTIA Board of Directors delivers diverse perspectives, deep experience, and strategic vision to help shape the future of the global IT channel. I would like to thank both our existing and new Board members for the tremendous value they bring to the organization and their commitment to ensuring we are delivering value to our members," said Wensley.

Scott Barlow also outlined his view of the board's role.

"GTIA's strength comes from the breadth of its community, from emerging IT service providers to global vendors and distributors. Our role as a board is to ensure GTIA continues delivering practical education, meaningful peer collaboration and trusted standards that help the industry grow with professionalism and purpose. Welcoming new directors is not just about governance; it is about building the next generation of leadership for the global technology ecosystem," said Barlow.

Wensley also addressed the outgoing board members.

"We are deeply grateful to Q and Steve for their leadership and lasting contributions to our organization and our members around the globe," he said.

GTIA represents more than 2,600 IT service providers, vendors, distributors and other companies serving the IT channel, and says it connects hundreds of thousands of professionals worldwide.
