SolarWinds revamps Partner Programme for greater growth

SolarWinds is unveiling the next phase of its Partner Programme, focusing on increasing profitability, enhancing partner capabilities, and providing improved tools for partners.

According to Andre Cuenin, Chief Revenue Officer at SolarWinds, "At SolarWinds, we are dedicated to creating lasting value for partners through collaboration, shared growth, and a unified vision. This year's Partner Programme theme, 'Elevating Together,' aims to empower partners to adapt to emerging technologies and evolving customer demands, focusing on channel success, growth, profitability, and exceptional customer satisfaction for a resilient and innovative future."

The new Partner Programme will introduce a three-tier purchase model which aims to increase profitability through enhanced revenue segmentation and improved margin control. SolarWinds has stated that these changes will take effect in the coming months. The company will also continue to offer popular growth incentives, which reward partners for expanding in its Observability, Database, and IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions.

SolarWinds is also enhancing partner capabilities through the introduction of the SolarWinds Services Certification Program (SCCP). This new certification programme allows services partners to sell and deliver SolarWinds Premium Support Add-On services. To qualify as a certified services partner, teams must include a SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) and a SolarWinds Certified Instructor (SCI).

Additionally, SolarWinds has improved its partner portal to provide a better user experience and more powerful tools. The updated portal will support improved business planning, marketing automation, integrated Google Ads activation, and enhanced lead-sharing capabilities.

The Partner Programme, originally launched in 2022, has been consistently updated each year based on feedback from employees and partners, aiming to support digital transformation and innovation efforts.

Building on these programme enhancements, SolarWinds plans to host two summits for strategic partners in 2025. The first summit will take place in Marrakesh, Morocco from February 10-12, and the second in Phuket, Thailand from March 3-5. These events will be opportunities for partners to learn more about the SolarWinds product portfolio and connect with executives and industry leaders to explore new opportunities and growth in the regions.
